Spring is officially here, and if you're like us, you're ready to get outside. This week, we're diving into what's growing in your backyard, the good, the bad, and the invasive. We've got a breakdown of Lancaster's native and invasive plants, a quiz to test whether you know the difference, and our five favorite local hikes (where you can put all that knowledge to use).

​Kids Indoor Seed Starting Workshop - March 28 @ 2:00 pm​
Get the kids growing in the garden with this hands-on seed-starting workshop. Includes a windowsill tray, starter peat pellets, and seeds. Choose from a variety of seeds, including tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, marigolds, dahlias, zinnias, and more. Appropriate for children 5 and up, younger children will need adult assistance.

​Rails and Ales - Saturday, Mar 28 @ 6:30 pm
Rails & Ales 2026, our ninth annual craft beer tasting event, will be held among the world-class collection of historic trains inside the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania’s 100,000 square foot Rolling Stock Hall. The event features craft breweries and food vendors.

Award-winning musicians from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Mexico make up this stunning quartet — violinists Valentin Mansurov and Marina Lenau, violist David Pedraza, and cellist Aziz Sapaev. They've performed with prestigious orchestras and ensembles worldwide, and now they're here in Lancaster.
