🌹 The Architecture Issue: The Story Our Buildings Tell

Good morning!

This week, we're doing something a little different. Instead of highlighting a single story or event, we're taking a walk through Lancaster's architectural history. Every time you walk down Duke Street or around Penn Square, you're walking through nearly 300 years of American history.

We've put together a visual narrative revealing how Lancaster's architecture tells the story of our city.

Here's what we have for you this week:

  • Guess the Word: Lancaster Architecture Addition
  • The Weekend Preview - There's so much to do this weekend!
  • The Story Our Buildings Tell - Our love letter and guide to Lancaster's architecture
  • There's a New Burger in Town

Guess the Word

It's the Lancaster architecture edition of Guess the Word! Hint: it's a 5-letter word related to Lancaster architecture. How many guesses will it take you?

A New Burger in Town

I really love the burger options in Lancaster, my go-to list (in order) is The Horse Inn, Cabalar, and Rt. 66. But this week, I had a new arepa burger at Chellas, and I think I might have a new favorite.

Their burger arepa is a quarter-pound burger with caramelized onions, Cooper cheese, Spanish chorizo, and chipotle aioli served with small yuca fries.

If you try it, let me know what you think.
